CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America is expanding its “Knowledge without borders” campaign, this time traveling to Panamá City, Panamá, to host a series of three seminars in collaboration with Poultry & Industrial Suppliers, Inc (PIS) and Interagro.
The seminar series began on June 10 and 11 with Ross® 308 AP customer Toledano, continued on June 12 with Chong, Arce, and Nidada/Cadasa, and concluded on June 13 and 14 with Grupo Melo. Approximately 200 poultry producers attended the three events.
Led by Aviagen and other industry experts, the seminars featured lively conversations on topics highly relevant to the audience. Key areas of focus included male and breeder management, balanced nutrition, and quality feed. Discussions also covered preventing metabolic and locomotive issues, strengthening the immune system, maintaining optimal housing environments, and providing birds with a good start in life. Optimizing incubation and hatching egg handling were also popular topics.
“We are thrilled to continue our “Knowledge without borders” series, this time focusing on our valued Ross 308 AP customers in Panama,” remarked Rodrigo Cisoto, Head of Technical Services for Aviagen Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean (CAME). “Visiting producers in their home environments is important to Aviagen. The advice we offer is customized to their needs, with the ultimate goal of continually enhancing the welfare, sustainability and performance of their flocks and the success of their businesses.”
