EDINBURGH, Scotland. – Al Zain Poultry, a Ross® 308 customer from Oman, recently celebrated their impressive broiler results with entry into our exclusive Ross Broiler Executive Club.
Al Zain Poultry was established in 2013 in Oman, with the aim of maintaining food security within the country and ensuring good quality, locally produced chicken. The company’s product mix includes fresh eggs, liquid eggs and fresh and frozen chicken.
Performance is consistently high in broiler flocks, due to the genetic developments of the Ross 308 and the knowledge and intense efforts of Ross customers in the region. The Ross Broiler Executive Club recognizes producers who achieve a European Product Efficiency Factor (EPEF) of 400 or more with their broiler flocks. Al Zain Poultry Farms has been a member of our Club since 2018. In their most recent flock, they achieved an average EPEF of 420, with their best-performing broiler flock receiving an EPEF of 475, which means they are classified as a Ross Broiler Executive Club Gold member.
“We are proud to be exclusive members of the Ross Broiler Executive Club and to collaborate with Aviagen, where we receive excellent quality, genetics, service and the best return on investment. Receiving this Gold award motivates our team to continuously progress in our performance standards. I would like to sincerely thank my production team and the Ross MEA team for making this achievement possible,” commented Murtuza Boriyawala, CEO, Al Zain Poultry Farm.
“Al Zain Poultry is a key customer in Oman and their broiler performance is continuing to improve year-on-year. The Al Zain production team works hand-in-hand with the Aviagen Ross customer support team and I believe this is the key to success along with their hard work and dedication. I look forward to continuing our collaboration with Al Zain Poultry and seeing their performance continuously improve in the future,” commented Erkin Erkmen, International Commercial Manager, Ross MENA.
